Joel 2:13
Magandang Balita Biblia
Magsisi kayo nang taos sa puso,
at hindi pakitang-tao lamang.”
Magbalik-loob kayo kay Yahweh na inyong Diyos!
Siya’y mahabagin at mapagmahal,
hindi madaling magalit at wagas ang pag-ibig;
laging handang magpatawad at hindi nagpaparusa sa nagsisisi.
Sermon Description
1. God’s Call to Repentance: The verse begins with “Rend your heart and not your garments.” This could be a point about the importance of sincere, heartfelt repentance rather than just outward expressions of regret.
2. The Nature of God: The verse describes God as gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love.
This could be a point about God’s character and His willingness to forgive those who turn to Him.
3. The Possibility of a Blessing: The verse ends with “and he relents from sending calamity.” “handang magpatawad at hindi nagpaparusa sa nagsisisi.”
This could be a point about the blessings and protection that can come from turning back to God and seeking His mercy.
