CFCM Principle of Faith
We believe in One God, who is the creator of the universe and everything within it. This God is one in essence and nature, but exists in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. This is known as the Holy Trinity.
We believe that the Father is the first person of the Trinity and the creator of all things. He is eternal, all-knowing, and all-powerful. Through His divine will and power, He brought the universe into being and continues to sustain it.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity and the Son of God. He was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and willingly died on the cross to atone for the sins of humanity. He rose from the dead on the third day, and through his sacrifice, He offers salvation and eternal life to all who believe in Him.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and is the divine presence of God within us. He guides and empowers us, helps us understand the Bible, convicts us of sin, and sanctifies us as we grow in our faith.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, revealing his nature, will, and plan for humanity. We believe that salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment of all people.
As believers in the Holy Trinity, we strive to live in harmony with God’s will, loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and loving our neighbors as ourselves. We seek to share the good news of salvation with others and to make disciples of all nations.
