Reasons to Rejoice

In our everyday life, we can’t foresee what will happen from our day to day life.
As we are not in control for whatever will happen, what we have only is choices on what we should do from what we have in front of us
If we are okay today, we can’t be sure that we can still be okay tomorrow.
As we always say, Only God knows.
Even though there is no assurance on what awaits us, God is reminding us that we always have reason to rejoice.
We can always find ways to rejoice and not to be sad when something unexpected happens.
Today, join us in following what God wanted us to do in whatever situation we may face.

1. In bad times, focus your eyes in the brighter side of things
-> Most of the times, when we are being tested, we are easily eaten by our frustrations, sadness and we easily grief
-> When we do that, we never think clearly and don’t seek the wisdom of God on how we can escape or win our present battle
-> Let us always remember that there is darkness because there is no light, and we can always find light, hope, chance, our way out with God.
-> So in bad times, right away, go to the source of light and everything will be alright.

2. Pray and be thankful for whatever is in front of us
-> I know this is not easy because it’s really difficult to be thankful if we know that we are being tested or we have so much in front of us.
-> Probably the best question to ask to yourself is, in those years you experienced different problems, did God ever leave you or forsake you?
-> And whatever you have right now is a new challenge because the old ones are already gone?
-> If we become thankful before we win our battle, don’t you still have that kind of confidence with God that the challenges you have right now are just another challenge that you will also win or overcome?
-> God already proved to us His faithfulness, we can assume our victory already as God is with us.

3. Hurting us will never be God’s intention
-> I always remember this Tricycle Taglines in our Barangay
-> Ang Problema mo ngayon ay kagagawan mo kahapon
-> We always have our part for whatever we are facing right now
-> Like what I have said, we are not in control on what possible things may happen
-> But we always have the choice to choose what is right
-> So when we have problems or we are in pain because of our circumstances, don’t ever think that God is punishing us or God hate us

-> John 3:16
16 Sapagkat gayon na lamang ang pag-ibig ng Diyos sa sangkatauhan, kaya’t ibinigay niya ang kanyang kaisa-isang Anak, upang ang sinumang sumampalataya sa kanya ay hindi mapahamak, kundi magkaroon ng buhay na walang hanggan.

-> Our pains, trials, or challenges are maybe God allowed to happen, but don’t ever think that God wanted to hurt us.
-> For sure, He only wanted us to teach a lesson because of the wrong decisions we made before.
