Peace in the Midst of Chaos

There are so many problems going on in our world today.
War, Calamities, Disasters, Oil Price Hike, Rice Price Hike, and others.
If the Philippines is not a Christian Country.
We could have a different perspective on what is going on in our country, in our time.
But because most of us have our faith in us to our God.
We are still hoping that one day, everything will be alright.

When the time Jesus died and was buried.
The disciples at that time were in chaos.
They were afraid that the Romans and high priests might go and hunt them down.
They were hiding and they didn’t know what to do.
Until Jesus appeared in their midst and their hopes was alive again.

Then Jesus went to heaven and His disciples continued His ministries.

Most of the time we have a different perspective of peace.
Some believe that having a lot of money will give them peace.
Others having good health is enough to have a peace of mind.
But the Peace that God offered is different.

Peace that despite many problems in front of us, we knew that God is with us and He will never leave us.
Peace that despite having a health battle, we knew that God is watching us, will take care of us whatever happens to us.
Peace that despite what we did against Him, if we decide to go back on His arms, He will accept us.
Peace that God offers is different to what this world can offer to us.
However, most of the time, we always choose to accept the peace that this world offers even to the point that we sacrifice our faith and salvation.

Today, let us be encouraged that whatever happens, we will always choose the PEACE that God offers.

1. God is giving us FREE Peace
-> Most of the times, we don’t give too much value to those things that we received free, but the peace that God offers is free but with high value
-> There are people who are hunting for true peace but end up with nothing but more worries
-> Once we accept His free peace, that is the time we can have not only peace of mind but also peace of heart.

2. The peace coming from God defeats troublesomes
-> Our lives has a never ending circumstances
-> There are times that we are facing multiple problems
-> Sometimes we will hear “ipasa Diyos” mo nalang
-> When we experience something that we don’t have any way to run, our end decision is to run with the Lord.
-> Because we know that God is a lot bigger than our problems
-> and that is the peace that God offers

3. Choosing God’s peace gave us a genuine peace
-> Genuine peace is a real peace
-> This is the peace that no such amount can buy
-> This is the peace that only God can give
-> Most of the time, we try so hard to attain the peace that we believe we need.
-> But after so many tries, still we never attain the peace we are searching or dreaming to have
-> This is no secret that only God can give that peace to us
