Pastor Owen Villena

Pastor Owen Villena is a man with a diverse and impressive background, having held a variety of professional roles and now serving as an elder of the United Methodist Church and missionary assigned to the Christ to Thailand Mission. He started his career as a software developer and systems analyst, with a degree in Computer Science from the La Consolacion University Philippines. He worked in the technology industry for several years, gaining valuable experience in software development and systems analysis before deciding to pursue a different path.

Feeling called to ministry, Pastor Owen attended seminary at Wesleyan University Philippines and was ordained as an elder in the United Methodist Church. He has since dedicated his life to serving God and spreading the Gospel. In his role as a missionary assigned to the Christ to Thailand Mission, he works to support the growth of the church in Thailand and build connections between Thai and Filipino communities. His work includes preaching, teaching, and community outreach, as well as facilitating mission trips and supporting local church leaders. Pastor Owen is committed to serving others and helping them discover the love and grace of God, and his diverse background and experiences have given him a unique perspective and skill set to carry out this mission.
