Seeking Wisdom in Times of Trial

INTRODUCTION
Wisdom: the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment; the quality of being wise.
Trial: What does trials in life mean?
Trials are the bumps and roadblocks in our otherwise smooth life journey. When these difficult times come, more often than not, our automatic response is to seek instant relief and immediate escape.
All of us in this world have their own life trials in life and we all have our own ways to face it, resolve it or win on it.
Sad to say, there are many who do not have the perseverance to stay in faith while we are being tested.
Because of this, we miss doing what is right, we are misjudging things, and so we choose a different path, not aligned with the wisdom of God.

Seeking Wisdom in Times of Trial
Question: Why is it important to seek the Wisdom of God in times of Trial?
Like what I have said, if we only rely on our own understanding, most of the time, we fail to do what is right and what is good.
Today, we will talk about the importance of seeking the wisdom of God, and as a basis of our action, it will be our pursuit of what is Good and What is right.

1. Let us accept our present situation
-> Most of the times, we are in denial of our situation
-> Because of this, we are not addressing the problem, and so we are just prolonging our agony
-> Accepting our present situation, will lead us to the next step of what we should do.

2. Pray for God’s wisdom to guide our decision making
-> We have to acknowledge the power of prayer in our lives
-> Be sincere to our prayers and be true to God, if you don’t know what to do next? Just be honest to your feelings
-> Once you receive the wisdom of God, just follow the lead and give your full trust to Him.

3. In taking actions, always think of what is right and what is good
-> If these 2 are always in consideration of every actions we will do in our lives, we know that we are doing just fine
-> Even when we are in pain, be still and always consider what is good and what is right. Though trials will bring us pain, but as we always consider not hurting others by doing what is right and good, we know that we are not the cause of the pain of others too.
-> Despite many problems, we stick to doing what is right and good, our Faith is there.
